Unfortunately the binary pattern for the

HEX number 108 is not the same as one of the

eight possible patterns that would match the

switch settings for the example’s Base Address

Thus the computer board in this

example would remain passive.

What are the 8 possible binary patterns ( as represented

by 8 different HEX numbers) that would make the

computer board in question active?
