Summary: 
In this TED Talks presentation Amory Lovins describes his plan for removing America’s dependence on oil. In part of his talk, Amory discusses the benefits of composites and how they will be the key to making more efficient cars here in the United States. The use of thermoplastic composites will allow less parts, increase manufacturability, decrease overall cost, increase driver safety, and the best part is that this technology is available right now!
