I am a recent PhD graduate and former Graduate Assistant in Industrial and Managment Systems Engineering Department at University of South Florida. During my PhD, I worked as a Research Assistant at Service and Transportation Management (STOM) lab with Dr. Changhyun Kwon and Multiobjective Optimization (MOO) lab with Dr. Hadi Charkhgard. I hold a M.Sc. (2014) in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo- NY, USA and a B.Sc. (2010) in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. I have also worked as a Teaching Fellow at SDSB, LUMS since 2014. I have held short-term research and teaching visits at Universidad Catolica Del Norte (UCN), in Antofagasta, Chile (2018). During 2012-2014, I was a Fulbright Masters Program scholar for my Masters Degree at University at Buffalo, NY, USA. Before starting my Masters degree, I worked as a Engineering Management Trainee and Project Engineer at Nestle SA, where I led the Electrical engineering team for multiple capital expenditure projects.

I am an active and proud student member of INFORMS, and served as Vice President for INFORMS USF Student Chapter (2017-2018). I also serve on the editorial board of student run ORMS magazine ORMS Tomorrow and was a student writer for E-news daily at INFORMS Annual Meeting (2018) in Phoenix, Arizona.

My research interests include application of Operations Research techniques to urban transportation systems, shared mobility systems and natural resource management problems. My current research encompasses issues related to sustainable urban transportation systems and conservation planning/environmental protection.
