TK Solver Modeling Tool

You will need to use TK Solver to run the  *.tkw   file
" fbedv10.tkw " to solve the set of equations  we wrote that
will model drying of saturated spheres in a fluidized bed.

To do this:

     1)    Copy the file fbedv10.tkw  to a convenient directory,
c:\temp for example,on your local computer.
(Do this by right clicking on the above filename
and choose to save the file to the desired directory)

    2)    Launch the application TK Solver from Start - Programs

    3)    On the File pull down menu select Open, choose the
fbedv10.tkw file you saved in the c:\temp directory
(or the directory you saved the file to).

    4)    Enter the appropriate values in the Input column
            of the Variable Sheet.

    5)    When all of the required values have been entered
press F9 to solve the model. The Output column
            fields will now be filled.

    6)    Print out the variable sheet, report the following
            results:
                     Minimum superficial fluidization velocity
                     Heat transfer coefficient
                     Mass transfer coefficient
