Dr. Mihelcic is the author of several books that have a focus on environmental engineering, sustainable development, and implementation of appropriate water and sanitation solutions for the developing world. Dr. Mihelcic has published extensively about sustainability and global issues of water supply and scarcity, sanitation, and solid waste management. He has traveled extensively in the developing world working on projects related to water supply and treatment, sanitation, solid waste management, and community health. This past winter he was an international organizer of an NSF workshop taking place in New Zealand that dealt with Sustainable Infrastructure that supports the Built Environment. |
