I am currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in University of South Florida. My advisor is Dr. Yu Sun . I am currently a member of the Robot Perception and Action Lab (RPAL) . I work on automaitically identifying states of cooking objects using convolutional neural netowrks (CNN). We are also working on a custom regularization method to improve the performance of deep networks. .
