Pedro Javier Villalba is a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, University of South Florida.

Mr. Villalba received his BS and MS both in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. Currently, he has been working on nano-diamond and conductive polymer nanocomposites for biosensing and biomedical applications. His research interest includes nano-crystalline diamond for bio-applications, experimental and numerical analysis of biosensor behaviors, and diamond/conducting polymers structures for chemical sensing.
