Qiang Hu
Qiang Hu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His previous research was about fatigue/fracture mechanism and transformation behavior of TiNi shape memory alloys. His current studies focus on the synthesis and characterization of nanocrystalline diamond films by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, and their electrochemical and surface acoustic applications. Other interests include growth of the nanocrstalline silicon wires, diamond wires and zinc oxide wires by vapor liquid solid (VLS) method. He was the receiver of the FMMD-GMS fellowship sponsored by USF Graduate School from 2006-2009.
