Supriya Ketkar
Ms. Supriya Ketkar is currently pursuing her PhD in the Electrical Engineering Department since Fall 2006. Supriya completed her Bachelor's in Electronic Science (B.S.) and Master's in Electronic Science (M.S.) from University of Pune (Maharashtra, India). She has worked in Center for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET, India), a research institute and successfully completed a project on Photoimageable Thick film pastes.
At USF she has been closely working in areas related to MEMS devices, some of her projects include "Design and testing of Piezoresistive MEMS Pressure Sensors for Oceanic applications", "Surface Engineering of silicon substrates for growth of Nanocrystalline Diamond" and "Growth and characterization of Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) thin films for Microwave Applications". She successfully completed two internships at IBM T.J. Watson Labs in work related to 3D Integration and Electronic Packaging. She has several peer-reviewed publications under her belt.
