The REU program in our department offers a
limited number (depending on availability of funds and research positions) of
Engineering Undergraduate Research Fellowships sponsored by the Vice President
of Research, the Dean of Engineering, and by the participating Faculty Mentors.
These fellowships are available to all engineering students of all levels, and
also to students of other USF departments and regional Community Colleges who
would like to do research in the Department of Chemical Engineering or in the
College of Engineering. Interested students can start participating anytime of
the year on a flexible schedule, which only depends on the arrangements made
between Faculty Mentors and Undergraduate Research Assistants. Please stop by my
